Powerful, yet quiet 2021 son of Jovian!

Jacek TAL is a 17.1 hand 2021 registered Oldenburg bay gelding. He’s by the late dressage superstar, Jovian, and out of a Brentano II mare that is a maternal sister to a Grand Prix dressage horse. We bred, raised, started, trained and are showing Jacek. He is the most in-your-pocket, attention loving horse you will find! Everyone loves this horse, both at the farm and at shows. The judges always have excellent things to say about him and they all love him. Jacek is super steady, with lovely gaits to ride and a great canter! Since he is so big, we have only shown him at the Training level in 2025, as we did not want to push him too hard. He is schooling leg yield well, and learning shoulder-in and haunches-in. We’ve asked him for lead changes a few times and he gives them like he’s done them every day of his life, so changes are very natural for him. He likes to be ridden, LOVES cookies, and is a puppy dog to have around. He is a quiet horse that could be turned into an AA horse or he could take a pro rider to the FEI levels. He has shown a fair bit at both at schooling shows and USEF shows. He has done both overnight shows and one day shows, so has a fair bit of life experience for a youngster. However, like all of our youngsters, we have brought him along carefully to allow him to grow up, and even now, he only works three times per week.  I absolutely love this horse and really don’t want to sell him, but he’s not a mare so he has to go. This is a horse that I would love to have updates on!!!! We named Jacek after an incredible trainer that we were lucky enough to have ridden with.
