Island’s Sunshine is a 16.1hh Premium and North American Top 5 mare born in 2016. She’s out of a deep and old Hanoverian performance mare line. Three of her direct maternal uncles have been internationally competing horses.

She’s by Sagnol, who produced multiple dressage and cross country champions, out of a mare by Capitol II/Pilot/Salut/Grannus. The dam herself competed in eventing, jumpers and 4th level dressage in Germany and Canada.

Sunshine is schooling 1st and some 2nd level, also jumps very well and has been out back on our trails. Has green jumper changes and they’ll come easy, when it’s time to work on them under dressage tack. Outstanding, supple laterals. Powerful and supple horse, outstanding movement, forward thinking and sensitive with a good engine. Always tries to do everything right, great work ethic. Was ridden by skilled Juniors as well as AA’s and Pros. Had been started at 3, produced outstanding Premium progeny for us and is back under saddle since over a year. Very sweet girl, loves to be groomed and stands patiently in the cross ties. Best suited for a balanced supple rider that wants to work towards FEI goals or cross over into other arenas and is confident with sensitive horses and big powerful movement.
